Commission a Bespoke Piece
Every piece I create is made to order, designed specifically for the client and the space in which it will reside. My work is not mass-produced — it is built one piece at a time, by hand, with patience, intention, and respect for the material.
A commission begins with a conversation about purpose, proportion, wood selection, and the story behind the piece. From there, the design evolves through drawings, models, and study of form until it feels honest, balanced, and timeless.
My ProcessI approach each commission as a collaboration between craftsman, client, and wood.
Conversation & Intent
We discuss function, aesthetic direction, and how the piece will be used and experienced.
Design Development
Sketches, scale drawings, and refined geometry bring the idea into focus.
Material Selection
Boards are chosen for grain, color, movement, and character — nothing is accidental.
Joinery & Handwork
Traditional joinery, refined by hand tools, ensures integrity, longevity, and quiet strength.
Finishing & Presence
The final surface is shaped, tuned, and finished so the piece feels alive in the hand.
Each stage is deliberate. Nothing is rushed.
Philosophy
I believe furniture should have presence — not only as an object, but as something meaningful in the lives of the people who live with it. A well-made piece carries memory, heritage, and the trace of the maker’s hand.
If you are interested in commissioning a piece, I invite you to reach out and begin the conversation.
